This is good move that, Cashless service is no more now.
The PSU insurers have stopped the cashless service from July 1 because of alleged over-billing by some private hospitals.

“Final rate structure would be decided in another 30-40 days. Under the structure that is being worked out, hospitals would be categorized on the basis of super specialty medical centres and premiums would vary accordingly,” Dr Pervez Ahmed said.

Currently, 450 hospitals across the country have joined the cashless network, but corporate hospitals were yet to fall in line. They were removed by the PSU insurers from their preferred provider network (PPN) from July 1 over allegations of over-billing.
At present, the collective loss is estimated to be in the region of Rs 2,000 crore over annual premium of Rs 9,000 crore. There are about eight crore mediclaim policyholders in the country.
TPAs (Third Party Administrators) will revert to the hospitals on the package rates.
