The marketing terminology means that to “Identify the customer needs and wants and satisfy those needs and wants through the exchange of service and products”

According to industries the term “Marketing” is vital in all areas of its business.

Because the customers, the vital part in business can be only generated through the various actions of marketing, without customers we can’t say a business is existing.

7 P Of Marketing ie Seven Pillars Of Marketing

Hence the existence of a management as well as a company depends on the various aspects used in marketing. There are seven “7 P” aspects which act as pillars in marketing they are:

Product
Price
Place
Promotion

For a marketing person he must have to know in detail about the above defined terms, because it’s the brain and blood for all aspirants in the field of marketing.

Marketing is completed only by mentioning the rest three terms they are:

6) People

7) Physical evidence

The Understanding of each terms mentioned on 7 p is important in marketing

Product: A product is something that satisfies the needs and wants of a customer. They are of tangible and intangible in nature.

Tangible: Computer, Automobile (We can see, touch and feel).

In Tangible: Insurance policy (We cannot touch & feel)

Price: The price gives value for a product. The attraction of customers towards a product depends on the pricing of product.

Place: The place is where the product or services developed is to be actually sold. The company use distributors, wholesalers & retailers to sell there products at the selected places.

Promotion: The Company will use the various promotional techniques like advertising, personal selling, public relations, direct selling as promotional techniques as there marketing of products among customers.

Process: The marketing process mainly deals with the process like current situation of market analysis, selecting the right marketing strategy, selecting the marketing mix decisions, implementation and control.

People: The marketer has to think of inside and outside of peoples, because they are responsible for every element of sales in business process.

Physical evidence: This is the tangible part of product. The customers experience about a product can be evaluated through it by the company

Example: If you travel in an aircraft at a first class then we will expect enough room space to be able to lay down.

The American marketing association (AMA) plays a vital role in defining all aspects related to marketing. Philip Kotler is considered as the father of marketing and his writings about the marketing and its different aspects have being beautifully mentioned in the book of “Marketing Management”. This book is considered as the bible, an encyclopedia in marketing. The marketing is not limited by its term; there are various types of marketing terminologies used in industries. They are Service marketing, Industrial marketing, Niche Marketing, Segmented marketing etc. Even each of this term has being converted to books with an in-depth study conducted on each area.

Marketing Research backbone of marketing

If marketing is considered as head then the backbone is “Marketing Research”. What is “Marketing Research”? All activities like setting objective, creating action plans, collecting information’s, analyzing, interpreting, presentation, actions etc comes under the process of marketing research activities, and the marketing research activity are of different types that are used by industries based on the purpose of its operations.

Well Guys and Gals this is my fourth tutorial here and today i am gonna teach you all how to hide your drives. Well there can be many reasons why you try to hide your drives from others??

It may be something secret may be a video from a girl friend or video of your date or some games or even may be some important files. Well so now it is possible to hide the drives and show it again whenever it is needed.

This is a great trick you can even be played on your friends as prank . To disable the display of local or networked drives when you click My Computer.

Go to start -> run. Type regedit.

Browse to the following path :

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer

Now in the right pane create a new DWORD item and name it NoDrives(it is case sensitive). Now modify it’s value and set it to 3FFFFFF (Hexadecimal) .

Now restart your computer.

So, now when you click on My Computer, no drives will be shown(all gone…).

Now to re-enable it again :

To enable display of drives in My Computer, simply delete this DWORD item that you created.

Again restart your computer.You can now see all the drives again.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
In the right pane, double-click Start.
In the Value data box, type 4, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.

To re-enable a disabled port, follow these steps below

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate, and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
In the right pane, double-click Start.
In the Value data box, type 3, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
Quit Registry Editor.

That’s it and the USB Device is in Your Control Now and you can enjoy Tweaking XP.

Today (16 Feb. 09) LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) has launched its new scheme named “Jeevan Varsha” which offers guaranteed return with survival benefit. This plan is launched keeping the success of “Jeevan Aastha “. This money back plan will be available from 16 Feb. 09 to 31 Mar. 09. The term of this policy would be 9 (Nine) and 12 (Twelve) years respectively. One of the most important plus point in this plan in the survival benefit which will give return after every 3 (Three years) which in return will create higher rate of return.
Lets workout “Jeevan Aastha “ in reality,
The Life Insurance Corporation’s (LIC’s) Jeevan Aastha, Religare Aegon’s Life Guaranteed Return Plan and IDBI Fortis’ Bondsurance are some to have hit the market recently.
LIC’s Jeevan Aastha has got the most attention because it has offered 9 percent (Rs 90 per Rs 1,000) and 10 percent (Rs 100 per Rs 1,000) returns for a period of 5 years and 10 years, respectively. “Some investors were in such frenzy that they withdrew from bank fixed deposits to invest in these products,
However, there is a catch in LIC’s return calculations. While other companies have clearly stated that they would give a compounded rate of interest, LIC Jeevan Aastha’s advertisements have put it in rupee terms. What the insurer has not said is that the returns will be based on simple interest.
Let’s look at how this product will work. Jeevan Aastha offers Rs 100 and Rs 90 per Rs 1,000 invested for 10 and 5 years respectively. If a person aged 35 wants a cover of Rs 3 lakh for five years, the one-time premium is Rs 51,930. On death, the family stands to get Rs 3 lakh in the first year. The guaranteed death benefit falls from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 1.09 lakh in the second year and rises marginally to Rs 1.22 lakh in the fifth year.
On survival, the maturity value will be Rs 72,500. So, in effect, the policy-holder makes Rs 20,570 on a premium of Rs 51,930. That means the compounded rate of return is a mere 6.73 percent.For a person, who is 60 years old, the one-time premium is Rs 57,045 and the maturity value is same at Rs 72,500. That effectively works out to 4.83 percent compounded interest.
Compare this with a bank fixed deposit and the numbers are much more impressive. An investment of Rs 51,930 for five year at the rate of 9 percent would give returns of Rs 81,037. That is, Rs 29,107 (Rs 8,537 more than Jeevan Aastha). It’s simply because the interest is compounded. .
From an investment perspective, returns are quite low. Returns of 6-odd percent is worse than what any bank fixed deposit offers. Even Public Provident Fund offers a substantially higher rate at 8 percent.
I have done a mistake with Jeevan Aastha , Not now with Jeevan Varsha again. My learning to this is “Don’t mix Insurance and investment”.
